Announcement: Clarke Willmott pledges to Share to Support đŸŒ±

We are delighted to welcome our first law firm, Clarke Willmott, to the Share to Support scheme.

They have pledged a proportion of their unspent apprenticeship levy to support SMEs in the West of England. This generous levy pledge will help fund apprenticeship training for small and medium sized businesses in the West of England, many of whom wouldn’t be able to recruit apprentices or upskill their team without funding support.

“Clarke Willmott is proud to be supporting the Share to Support scheme, which aligns with our focus of improving social mobility in our communities. Providing opportunities to allow others to thrive is vital for unlocking talent and supporting local business growth and success.” Karen Higgins, Head of ESG at Clarke Willmott.

Jane Yorke, Apprenticeship Development Manager at WTPN, said: “we are delighted to welcome Clarke Willmott to the Share to Support scheme. This collaboration through apprenticeships will make a real difference to people’s lives by improved personal prospects as well as supporting local communities.”

If you’re an SME looking to contribute to enhancing social mobility via apprenticeships, please get in touch with more information about how you can apply for this funding.

If you work for a large employer, your company may have unspent apprenticeship levy that will be transferred back to Treasury. However, your company has the power to make a real difference to small and medium sized businesses in the region and the local community by donating this surplus levy to be used locally on apprenticeship training costs.
